COVID Trends Prediction

COVID-19 is the fifth documented – and one of the most devastating – pandemic since 1918, infecting more than 82 million people and taking over 1.8 million lives worldwide. Understanding the trend of how, why, when and where this pandemic spread is essential to tackling similar situations in the future, and making our world a safer place to live in. Participants interested in this theme used oneAPI Data Analytics Toolkit to build solutions that provided clear understanding of COVID infections trends in India.​

Water Quality Prediction

​ Freshwater is one of the most vital and scarce natural resources, making up just 3% of the earth’s total water volume. It touches nearly every aspect of our daily lives. Access to safe and sanitary water supply is essential not only to human life, but also to the survival of surrounding ecosystems that are experiencing the effects of droughts, pollution, and rising temperatures. Participants interested in this theme used oneAPI Data Analytics Toolkit to build solutions that determined suitability of water for consumption.

Open Innovation

As part of the Open Innovation theme, participants were encouraged to build AI Solutions that address a global or a local problem using oneAPI Data Analytics Toolkit, in accordance with one or more of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. The solutions focused on aspects like: impact on human lives, diversity, inclusion, impact on the physical environment, innovative use of AI, and use of Intel technology.​
